These are all the areas that I have focused my studies and efforts on, in no particular order.
Robotics
- I would not call myself a ‘robotics’ guy, but I have plenty of experience working on algorithms and building some robots.
Algorithms
- I enjoy understanding a problem, figuring out how to solve it, implementing all the details, and being in charge of what I’ve written. Hence, algorithmic work is right up my alley.
Systems Development
- I like looking at problems from the bigger picture to see how all the pieces fit together. I have contributed to and designed multiple larger code bases to accomplish difficult tasks.
Artificial Intelligence
- The reason I got into computer science. I’m disappointed what level of understanding artificial intelligence is at academically, but enjoy its applications where they apply.
